THE PRACTICE
Our Counselors
Kristina Hayden - Frankfort
Counselor, MEd, LPCC-S
I work with adolescents, adults, children, couples, families, and groups. As a counselor, I believe the most important element in treatment is the relationship between the therapist and the client. Utilizing this relationship we can work together to address many of life's challenges. It is my goal to help clients learn coping skills in a supportive, warm and nonjudgmental environment. My experience includes working with trauma survivors, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders and family conflict while focusing on relapse prevention.
Utilizing a Wellness Model, I focus on a client's right to recover and be well, enjoy a quality life, make their own choices and guide their own lives. Through the use of evidence-based techniques, clients may learn effective coping skills to resolve the challenges facing them.
Our offices at Healthy Minds Counseling Services, Inc. allow a client to feel comfortable and secure while they work to resolve various life challenges. Through the therapeutic relationship, I believe I can assist my client in obtaining their goals.
